Tata Consultancy Services is the largest IT company in India, with revenue of about ₹2.67 lakh crore, just over $30 billion, in the 2025-26 financial year. Infosys is second, having crossed $20 billion in annual revenue, and HCLTech, Wipro and Tech Mahindra complete the traditional top five. Behind them, mid-sized firms such as Coforge, Mphasis and Persistent Systems have been growing faster than the giants.

Companies are ranked by annual revenue for the 2025-26 financial year, as reported in their results in April and May 2026. Hexaware reports on a calendar-year basis, so its most recent full year is used. Only Indian-headquartered IT services companies listed in India are included, so the Indian operations of Accenture, Cognizant, IBM and Capgemini, which employ very large numbers of people in India, are not ranked here. Engineering services specialists such as L&T Technology Services and software product companies are also left out, because their business is different enough to need its own comparison. Revenue figures are rounded, and where a company reports mainly in US dollars we give the dollar figure. The top six have held the same order for several years, while the order among the mid-sized firms changes more often.
