• Marked Promoted. Paid placement is always labelled here. We will not dress it up as an editorial pick, and you should not want us to.
• It links to your song's page. Every song we track has one, with its live YouTube view count, its growth over time and the artist's other releases.
• Dates agreed up front. The placement goes live and comes down on the schedule we agree — no rolling charge, no chasing us to remove it.
• The song stays in the catalogue afterwards. Once the feature ends it is still on its year board, in site search and on the artist page, like every other song we track.

• We do not sell chart positions. Our song charts are ordered by YouTube's own public view counts, and our fan polls by the votes readers cast. Neither order is for sale, to you or to anyone else — which is the only reason they are worth appearing on.
• We do not sell views, likes, comments or subscribers, and we will not inflate a number anywhere on the site.
