The songs below cover all three. Some are decades old and still get the loudest reaction of the night; others are recent film tracks that a whole generation learned the steps to on a phone screen. It has become a set piece rather than a song — the moment the sunglasses come out. It fills a floor at any Indian wedding, Punjabi or not.

Gippy Grewal, Yo Yo Honey SinghFrom Honey Singh's International Villager era in 2011, with Gippy Grewal on vocals. It was one of the tracks that made Punjabi club production unavoidable at Indian weddings, and it still works because the drop announces itself to people who have never heard the song before.
