How this list was made
Weekly TV ratings change too often to rank shows on a single week's numbers, so this list is ranked on longevity, reach and influence. We looked at how many seasons each show has run, whether it still airs in 2026, how widely it is watched on TV and streaming, and how many careers it has launched. Only original Indian versions are counted, and regional editions such as Bigg Boss in Tamil, Telugu or Kannada are grouped under the main show. Air dates and hosts are as of September 2026.
About this list
Top 10 Indian Reality Shows of All Time runs from 1 to 10. Bigg Boss takes the top spot, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa closes it out at number 10. It was first published on 24 September 2026.
