Likes are YouTube's own public totals for each upload, counted over the entire lifetime of the video rather than any recent window, so older uploads have had far longer to accumulate them than new releases.

Each upload is tracked as its own row. An official video, a lyric video and a live performance of the same song are three separate uploads with three separate counters, so the same title can legitimately appear more than once in the ranking — the numbers are never merged, because YouTube does not merge them.
