TrendingPunjabi news desk
Simar is the name of the TrendingPunjabi news desk, not a single reporter. Stories under this byline are researched and written with the help of an AI model, and checked by the TrendingPunjabi team.
How the stories are made
- Crime Files and long reads: India’s biggest cases, told from the first clue to the final verdict. Each one is researched from news reports, court rulings and documentaries, which are all linked at the end, and written in our own words.
- Theories are labelled as theories. Next to each one we say what the evidence and the courts actually found. Anyone a court has not convicted is called accused, and acquittals are stated plainly.
- Big stories: when a very big Indian entertainment story breaks, the desk may write a short summary in its own words from what several outlets reported, saying who reported what and linking to every one of them.
Corrections
Every story lists its sources. If something is wrong, tell us and we fix it. Our editorial policy has the details.
