The story of Splitsvilla 2
Splitsvilla 2 arrived in 2009 with Nikhil Chinapa taking over as host. The villa was back in Goa, and the 15 episodes aired from 7 March to 14 June 2009, with 20 Splitsvillans in the game.
Three names did most of the dumping. Sidharth Bhardwaj dumped Paramvir Singh, Stuti Nag, Ritika Nainta, Nalini Negi and Shikha Taneja. Joanna Magee dumped Rahul Dwivedi, Aman Sharma, Ashutosh Kataria and Suyyash Rai. Mohit Malhotra dumped Cheshta Bhagat, Meenakshi Negi and Swaagata G Shah. Between them, these three did most of the dumping, and the places run all the way down to 15th, where Swaagata G Shah, dumped by Mohit, sits at the bottom. Cheshta Bhagat is placed twelfth and Meenakshi Negi fourteenth, both dumped by Mohit.
Wild cards kept the game moving. Sakshi Bhayana was dumped by Mohit, re-entered as a wild card and was dumped a second time, this time by Sidharth. Bhav Aman Singh and Varun Jhamb were also eliminated and came back as wild cards, and Joanna dumped both of them. Bhav Aman Singh returned as a replacement for Meherzan Mazda, who quit because of illness and is placed tenth.
The final belonged to Sidharth Bhardwaj and Sakshi Pradhan, the winning pair and the ideal match of the season. Mohit Malhotra and Joanna Magee lost to them in the finale and took second place, while Paramvir Singh and Stuti Nag, both dumped by Sidharth, are placed third.
