The story of Bigg Boss 4
Bigg Boss 4 began on 3 October 2010 on Colors TV from the Lonavala house. It was Salman Khan's first season as host. Sixteen housemates took part for a ₹1 crore prize, and the show ran for 97 days across 98 episodes, with its finale on 8 January 2011.
The cast was varied. Shweta Tiwari was known as a television star, Ashmit Patel and Samir Soni as Bollywood actors, and Veena Malik as a Pakistani actress and model. Manoj Tiwari was a Bhojpuri actor and politician, Seema Parihar a politician, and Ali Saleem, known as Begum Nawazish Ali, a Pakistani TV anchor. Abbas Kazmi was a lawyer, and Devender Singh, also known as Bunty Chor, was the first to leave: ejected on day 1.
Abbas Kazmi was evicted on day 7, Sakshi Pradhan on day 14 and Ali Saleem on day 21. Two wild cards joined the house. Wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, known as The Great Khali, entered on day 14, and actress Dolly Bindra on day 21. Rahul Bhatt was evicted on day 35, Anchal Kumar on day 42, Hrishant Goswami on day 56, Manoj Tiwari on day 63, Sara Khan on day 70 and Seema Parihar on day 77.
Two housemates left the house and came back. On day 45, Dolly Bindra and Samir Soni were both ejected. Samir Soni re-entered on day 49 and Dolly Bindra on day 56. Samir Soni was then evicted on day 95, while Veena Malik left on day 91.
Four housemates reached day 97. Shweta Tiwari won the season, The Great Khali was first runner-up, Ashmit Patel second runner-up and Dolly Bindra third runner-up. Two of the top four, Khali and Dolly Bindra, had entered as wild cards.
